The Men :

SomeOddPilot Records is run by a medley of chachos. You've got Chris and Jason of The Timeout Drawer, Sean of Salvo Beta, and Phil who co-runs the design business with Chris. Confusing it is. All of this involves a lot of arguing and heated discussion. "To what end?" you might ask. To no end, we would answer.

The Mission:

SomeOddPilot Records is an independent Chicago-based label delivering the fat goods for all the phat kids. A certain concentration has developed over the years within the genres of electronic and instrumental musics, just because we like them. Located in a makeshift commercial loft space on the north side of Chicago and coupled with the SomeOddPilot design company, the office features a leaking roof, restrooms fit for satan's cohorts, limited asbestos exposure, and our stupid faces. But wait, that has nothing to do with the mission. Perhaps we are just too eager to share that information, especially about the bathrooms, and we really don't have much to say about any kind of mission. Rats.

Your Demos:

SOPR is always on the hunt for sliced bread. We can't gaurantee a response but we do listen to everything, before a thick application of butter and jam. Beware: if you are a punk rock, country western, emo, metal, industrial, or folk band, you might be wasting your postage and time. Instrumental, prog, electronic, electic/experimental, post-rock and what have you send your submissions to:
